Australia Reach FIFA World Cup Knockout Stages of Qatar 2022

Since 2006, Australia has not been able to advance to the knockout stages of the FIFA World Cup until this year.

After their victory over Denmark, Australia advanced to the next round of the competition.

The Australian team won by a score of 1-0 thanks to a goal scored by Mathew Leckie.

After competing in Group D, Australia earned a total of six points over the course of the tournament, placing them in second place.

Both Denmark and Tunisia were kicked out of the Qatar 2022 tournament. Denmark’s expectations were severely dashed during this FIFA World Cup.
